“Prepare Ye the Way… WITH the Lord! A Different Kind of Advent Retreat for Busy People”

Registration: $50 (by 11/23), $60 (after 11/23 or at the door) 

While we recognize Advent as a time to prepare spiritually for the coming of Christ, we frequently feel caught up in a hectic pace that does not feed our souls. A little time during the first week of Advent can help to transform the tasks of the season—welcoming family and friends, card writing, gifting, and decorating— into ‘spiritual exercises’ as we uncover God’s activity within our own.

The purpose of this retreat is to make space for and recognize Emmanuel (God-with-us) as present and praying through us, in the midst of our busy lives.

Presenters Peg Wuelfing and Anita Davidson will provide retreatants with materials to help create that sacred space on the first night. Welcomed to attend all of the retreat experiences, each participant returns to Nazareth during the week for communal prayer and reflection as they feel drawn in response to the movement of God in his/her soul, For those who choose to pray the retreat at home with the materials provided on the first night, a minimum commitment of one half hour a day is encouraged.

Sat, Dec 3, 2011 10 am - noon	Gathering in Gratitude Welcoming Loved Ones, in Person & in Spirit… Tensions and All

Optional Activities (at extra cost, to be arranged at time of registration):

• Overnight at Nazareth for all or part of the week ($35/sngl $45 dbl, incl. continental breakfast daily)
• Meet for an hour with a spiritual director  ($25; director bios here)
• Experience healing touch, 45 min. massage ($45; therapist bios here)
